Caeb Colravy, Esq.
Mr. Colravy grew up in Piper City, Illinois and Tampa, Florida. He has lived in the Washington, DC metropolitan area since 1999. Mr. Colravy received his undergraduate education at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science
Mr. Colravy attended law school at the Washington College of Law at American University in Washington, DC. He graduated from law school with cum laude honors and was selected as the “Outstanding Graduate” by the law school faculty. He represented his first clients while still a student attorney in the criminal justice clinic and the human rights impact litigation clinic, and won his first jury trial before graduating law school. He was also the research assistant to Prof. Michael E. Tigar, former chair of the American Bar Association’s Section of Litigation. He worked with Prof. Tigar to plan a 10-day training program for Texas attorneys defending clients facing the death penalty.
Following law school he was selected to be a law clerk for a judge in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland. Following his judicial clerkship, he became a trial lawyer in the Maryland Office of the Public Defender in Montgomery County, where he aggressively represented thousands of clients. As a public defender, he received excellent professional training and gained extensive trial experience. Mr. Colravy has successfully tried hundreds of cases at both the District Court and Circuit Court levels.
After years of service in the public defender’s office, Mr. Colravy entered into private practice at a small Rockville law firm, where he continued to practice criminal defense, in addition to civil litigation (including personal injury, divorce, child custody, and general civil matters).

Mr. Colravy is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association; the Bar Association of Montgomery County, Maryland; the District of Columbia Bar; and the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys’ Association.
